The house, once a simple village home, has been reimagined with contemporary design, yet it still whispers stories of the past. A small lookout beneath the trees provides a timeless view of the river and vineyards, inviting you to lose yourself in the landscape.

Here, tradition is honored. A welcome kit awaits with locally sourced sourdough bread, rich butter, homemade jam, organic milk, and a bottle of wine crafted by nearby winemakers. The commitment to sustainability runs through every detail, from eco-friendly toiletries to fresh flowers that echo the surrounding beauty.

If you’d rather not cook, you’re in luck! The area is home to a variety of excellent restaurants offering delicious local cuisine. From charming bistros to fine dining, there are plenty of options to explore and savor.

  • Os Pendellos - a standout spot that specializes in octopus, offering a delicious taste of regional cuisine that's not to be missed.
  • A faragulla - located in the historic center of Chantada, in the heart of Ribeira Sacra, A faragulla features three distinct and cozy spaces where you can enjoy our culinary and wine offerings.
  • Tapería adaRosa - place to enjoy delicious tapas and exquisite tortillas (a house specialty), which you can pair with a beer, wine, draft beers, or vermouth.
  • Jamonería Mar & Bellota - Charcuterie, wine bar, toasts, and tapas. Here, you can also buy local products such as cured meats, cheeses, hams, breads, liqueurs, wines, champagnes, cavas, sparkling wines, and gourmet items.
  • Tres Portas - At Tres Portas, excellence in product, passion for the land, innovation, and tradition blend seamlessly in our gastronomic offerings. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients shine in every bite. 
  • Brasería Torre Vilariño - Traditional regional cuisine and grill house. Specializing in red meats and Portuguese-style cod.
  • A Cociña de Fon -  An excellent Thai restaurant… but Thai?! In Galicia? Trust us—this is Thai to die for!

  • Máis que románico - organized routes where you will have a chance to get to know local history of Ribeira Sacra.
  • Route of the Belesar Vineyards - linear route of just over four kilometers, you descend alongside the Miño River along well-maintained paths and trails, walk through vineyards, and finally reach the village of A Veiga.

  • Bodega Finca Millara - located in a charming village of the same name, which seems straight out of a fairy tale.

  • Castrofiz is a small winery in Ribeira Sacra, run by two friends searching for the wine they wanted to drink, crafted with respect for local tradition and the land.

Kids will have their own room with a bunk bed—who didn’t dream of that as a child? Late-night storytelling and laughter await! They can bring their favorite games and enjoy quality time with their parents. Outdoors, they can embark on adventures, exploring the rural life and the magic of Ribeira Sacra. And for those rainy days, even the most demanding little ones can settle in and watch their favorite cartoons.

How will I arrive?

By carOur house is located in a quite remote place, so we recommend coming by car. There is parking available for small and medium car.

By public transport: If you're not a driver, you can also reach Chantada by public transport and take a taxi from there as it's only 10km away. Let us know if you'll be using public transport to come.

Is it possible to work online?

There is a fast WiFi at the house so if you are planning a workation this is your place! There is also good GSM coverage if you need to make any calls.
