What will I eat?

You will have a fully equipped kitchen at your disposal where you can create delicious meals. There is also a barbecue in the backyard so you can enjoy your meal outdoors, surrounded by nature's tranquility.

Are you a breakfast lover? We can prepare a delightful breakfast basket tailored to your taste – choose from savory or sweet options, each filled with fresh, local products. Picture starting your day with a basket of artisanal cheeses, freshly baked bread, homemade jams, and seasonal fruits, all sourced from nearby farms.

Don't feel like cooking? We recommend visiting the Mooma restaurant. They are producers of the first Catalan cider and offer a menu with typical Catalan dishes made with local products.

Will I be bored?

Definitely not. There is something to do for everyone and during all seasons.
Our house offers plenty of activities to keep you entertained and relaxed, whatever you feel like.

During the summer, take a refreshing dip in our inviting pool. For romantic getaways, cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy a warm, intimate atmosphere.

In the evenings, indulge in stargazing experiences, taking in the beauty of the night sky. Relax in the garden, grab a book, and let the soothing sounds of birds enhance your tranquility.

Our house is surrounded by lush forests, offering numerous walking trails. Nearby, you can also visit picturesque vineyards with a rich history, where you can enjoy tasting exquisite local wines. There's always something delightful to do, ensuring your stay is both enjoyable and memorable.

Sightseeing: Villages, monuments and other interesting places:

  • Sant Martí Vell (500m) - This little charming village has about 250 inhabitants. Its stone streets are full of history and give the village a unique personality.
  • Madremanya (6km) - Medieval village with charming old town dominated by the fortified parish church of Sant Esteve from 14th century.
  • Monells (9.5km) - Medieval village with a well-preserved old town and cobblestone streets.
  • Gala Dalí Castle & Museum (11km) - The medieval castle that Dalí bought for his wife Gala. Today is a museum where visitors can admire interior décor and antiques.
  • Castillo de San Miquel (11.5km) - 10km hiking route (loop) to the ruins of castle. 
  • Stone Bridge, Girona (16km) - the oldest and the most famous bridge in Girona. 
  • Pals (20km) - Medieval village with spectacular views over Costa Brava. 
  • Peratallada (26km) - The village, declared a historical-artistic site and cultural asset of national interest (BCIN), is one of the most important centers of medieval architecture in Catalonia.
  • L'Escala (31km) - Located by the sea, offers beautiful beaches and many activities.

  • The Arab Baths (14.5km) - 12th century construction inspired by Roman baths, open for sightseeing.
  • Mas Cases Cruïlles (15km) - Family business that works with sheep and the products derived from them: yogurts, cheeses, cosmetics, wool products. They organize different activities open to the public but also arrange visits for private groups.
  • Mas Entreserra (15km) - They produce a variety of honeys from different flowers as well as other honey-derived products. We have fallen in love with the beeswax candle-making workshop they offer, and we encourage you to give it a try.
  • Trekking at a donkey's pace (24km) - discover the beauty of the Les Gavarres Massif at a donkey’s pace. Donkeys will carry all your gear and show you the amazing panoramic views of the Empordà region.
  • L'Estartit and Medas Islands by Barca (Boat) Núria (28.5km) - One of the best ways to explore the coastline of the Costa Brava is on a small fishing boat. You will visit caves, hidden beaches, circle the Medes Islands, and stop for a swim amidst the impressive cliffs of the Montgrí massif.
  • Dalí Museum (45km) - Located in Figueres, this museum is the largest surrealist object in the world, showcases Dalinian art in all its glory.

Is there anything for the kids?

Absolutely! Our house is a paradise for children, offering plenty of activities to keep them entertained and engaged. There is an amazing playground area where kids can play and explore safely. With ample space around the property, they can run free and enjoy the fresh air.

Inside the house, they will find a variety of games and books to keep them busy. They will also have the chance to truly experience rural life by meeting local farm animals like chickens and ducks, providing them with a unique and educational adventure.

One of the highlights for both kids and adults is the tractor experience. This activity allows you to discover and learn about both modern and vintage machines, ensuring tons of fun for everyone.

With so much to do, your children will have an unforgettable time, filled with exploration and discovery in a safe and friendly environment

How will I arrive?

By car: The house can be easily reached by car. If you're planning on doing one-day trips, that's definitely the option we recommend.

By public transport: You can reach nearby villages by train from Barcelona. From Bordils-Juiá you can walk to the house (30 minutes). From Flaça you can take taxi (20€). Don't hesitate to ask us for more details. 

Once you are in the house, you can use bicycles to visit nearby villages or reach small shops.

There is a WiFi at the house, so if you are planning a workation this is your place!
