About The Host
Alicia and Jesus

Alicia and Jesus

Formerly, a peasant's warehouse was on the verge of collapsing after more than 100 years. We faced the decision of leaving it or restoring it. We opted for the second option: taking on the risks, the work and effort, and the unexpected to give value to our heritage and boost the area. We are very pleased to see that, after so many years, the old warehouse, now known as A Casa de Abaixo, can be a place of beautiful moments for our guests.

About us:

  • We speak: Spanish, Galician and English
  • We are at house next door but we give you your space and privacy
  • We use eco-friendly products and from km0
  • We minimize the use of plastic - all the decoration in the house is made of wood and glass
  • We use ecological cleaning products bought by weight, without plastic packaging
  • We collaborate with neighbors and local communities

Special Charms of Our Home:

  • Typical Galician farm village renovated with great care, preserving the original structure
  • You'll be able to walk to the river
  • You'll be able to hear the sounds of the village

Alicia's place is lovely, just like in the photos. It is well equipped and very clean.

We just loved our stay at Alicia and Jesus's beautiful house. It is really a magnificent AirBnB, one of the best, if not the best we have been to.

We spent a wonderful time at A Casa de Abaixo, a beautiful, perfectly restored, immaculate cottage with lots of charm and character, a peaceful haven, a little bit of heaven!!!
