The house, once a simple village home, has been reimagined with contemporary design, yet it still whispers stories of the past. A small lookout beneath the trees provides a timeless view of the river and vineyards, inviting you to lose yourself in the landscape.

Here, tradition is honored. A welcome kit awaits with locally sourced sourdough bread, rich butter, homemade jam, organic milk, and a bottle of wine crafted by nearby winemakers. The commitment to sustainability runs through every detail, from eco-friendly toiletries to fresh flowers that echo the surrounding beauty.

  • Máis que románico - Organized routes where you will have the opportunity to learn about the local history of Ribeira Sacra.
  • Ruta de viñedos - A linear route just over four kilometers, where you descend along the Miño River, pass through vineyards, and finally reach the village of A Veiga.

Absolutely! The house offers an ideal setting for children to enjoy. With ample space both indoors and outdoors, kids have plenty of room to play and explore. The outdoor area is perfect for running and playing freely, while the surrounding rural landscape offers exciting routes to discover country life with their parents.

They can bring their favorite games to enjoy quality time, whether in the garden or the living room.

There's one activity the kids can't miss! At Airas Moniz, they'll have a unique and authentically rural experience. They’ll get the chance to visit the farm, meet the animals, and discover firsthand how delicious handmade cheese is made. An educational and fun adventure that will stay in their memories forever!

Additionally, inside the house, we provide a crib and a safety barrier for the stairs to ensure the little ones are safe.

How will I get there?

By carThe house is located in a rather secluded area, so we recommend arriving by car. Parking is available for small and medium-sized cars.

By public transport: If you don't drive, you can also get to Chantada by public transport and take a taxi from there, as it is only 10 km away. Let us know if you will be using public transport to get here.

Is it possible to work online?

The house has fast Wi-Fi, so if you're thinking about combining work and vacation, this is the place for you! Additionally, there is good GSM coverage in case you need to make calls.
